    good call, I think it’s incredible how Gil Evans didn’t care to exclusively perform songs, but instead start teasing the piece he wants to play until the rest of the band follows along. That’s one of the best traits a musician could have, it symbolizes their ability to see the relationship between difference composers/arrangements.
